BEDFORD, NH—Heather Owen, owner and art director of H2O Salon Spa Boutique, is thrilled to announce that she’s back “behind the chair” at the award-winning salon in the Bedford Grove shopping center on South River Road.

After a long bout with illness related to undiagnosed Lyme disease, Owen is looking forward to returning to the salon and designing hair besides continuing to manage the business.

“Hair design is my passion,” she said. “I’m excited to be back in a hands-on position behind the chair besides running the business, and look forward to seeing all of my clients.

“Over 18 years, H2O has earned numerous state and national awards. • No-contact guest payment is available, apple pay, credit card, or purchase an online gift certificate prior to your visit is available.
• H2O staff are washing hands before and after each guest.
• H2O Staff are disinfecting all surfaces before and after each Guest: wiping down stylist stations, styling implements, stylist chairs, shampoo bowls, shampoo chairs and shampoo hoses with disinfectant before and after each guest.

If you have traveled in the past 5 days: Internationally (outside the U.S.), By cruise ship, or Domestically (within the U.S.) outside of NH, VT, or ME on public transportation (e.g., bus, train, plane, etc.) or If you have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Isolate for 5 days, and be symptom free for 72 hours before visiting us. NEW YORK CITY– H2O Salon Spa goes the distance with a culture of education. Stylists recently returned from Bumble & bumble University in Manhattan, where they learned the latest skills and techniques.

Bianca and Tyler spent four days in New York City learning the latest hair fashions, techniques, and trends. Bumble and bumble University in New York is touted as the “Harvard of hair,” and is renowned for teaching stylists to be the best they can be.

Bianca has taken higher education classes at Bb University before, but for Tyler this was a first–including his first time in Manhattan.

“Bb University was amazing,” Tyler said. The educators are very humble so you can focus on learning, and not trying to impress them.

“Like the H2O Salon Spa culture, they really want you to be the best you can be.”

Bianca has been to Bb University before and is always excited to return and learn the newest trends. “I love that as part of H2O’s ongoing development we are sent on education trips. It keeps my craft exciting and new.”

GREATER MANCHESTER—H2O Salon Spa took top honors in the Best of New Hampshire’s 2017 A-List CityVoter competition in the Beauty and Wellness category for Best Hair Salon, and Best Day Spa. H2O also took the number-one spot for Wedding Hair and Make-Up.

More than 7,600 votes were cast in the NH A-List CityVoter (http://newhampshire.cityvoter.com/) competition. This was the first time a single business took first place in all of the categories in which it was nominated.

“All of us at H2O Salon Spa are very honored to have won,” owner Heather Owen, named a New Hampshire Magazine Woman of Achievement in 2007, said.
